It’s a big kR digital release day, i have 8 kits being released this morning at 2peas.

- There’s a HUGE valentines kit; you can either buy it all in one shot as a full collection or pick and choose which pieces you’d like and purchase them seperately.

- I also made what i’m calling a “Scraps” kit, which is basically an 8.5″x11″ printable pdf from the love & adoration collection (see below). It can be used for traditional scrapbook pages, project life or general holiday projects, i’m thinking of creating a mini garland with it.
  eta : the scraps kit will actually be out next tuesday. we had a little issue so i had to hold it til the next release date. worth the wait though!

- Lastly there’s a set of printable chalkboard journaling cards. I love these. LOVE. Lots of brushes are included in this set as well as a plain chalkboard background so you can make your own if you’d like. My journaling cards come in both .jpg & .pdf so you can print and use or add your journaling and photos before printing as well as use them in digital layouts and projects.

And the icing on the cake? All valentines themed digital projects are 20% off this week at 2peas. I know. 20% off brand new valentines releases, doesn’t get any better than that!

we’re on week two of winter break and i have to say, converting to the mac has been awesome. it’s also awesome for helping redirect the crankiness that consumed the littles yesterday (or anyday). from frog faces to buggy eyes it was the best 30 minutes ever. i’m trying to squeeze in every ounce of fun out of this last week so we’re off today to see a movie and then i’m taking them to go trade in some of their old books at the paperback book store (hoping to find 1 or 2 for me too. suggestions?).

i’m also trying to blog mwf. even if i don’t think i have anything to share/say. hoping the routine will get me back on a regular basis… once the littles are back in school i’m sure it’ll be alot easier. i’ve been piling up the craftyness and house diys and design work inspiration in pinterest and i am anxious to get my doing started after spending so many nights pinning all of the things i want to do.

- i feel like i lost last year in a haze of activity and busyness. really. the last year flew by too quickly. good times. sad times. sick times. extremely happy times. all rolled up into 365 days.

- this year i want to savor more of life. time. family. food. my passion for graphic design. craft. travel. instruction. being outside.

- part of planning to welcome in the savoring included spending the entire day yesterday reorganizing our home. moving the office, getting rid of an unwanted cabinet (thank you craigslist!), changing the flow of two other rooms as we shuffled furniture. setting up my new desk with the new iMac (thank you papa-papa!). synching all of my little mac toys together (what i’m doing right now, thank you iCloud). a fresh start for a new year.

- this year i also want to re-find my love affair with memory keeping. scrapbooking; both digital & paper. i seemed to lose my voice this past year. i would try to scrap, the cutting of paper was always a success of course, but when it came time to actually write words and/or journal or even think of what i wanted to document i went blank. every. single. time. this year i’m starting a better routine of documenting. it involves pL & my friend lisa is my inspiration.

- i’m also going to be concentrating more on the digital designing. returning to two peas in october this past year has been amazing. i love the process and i love seeing others making things with my ideas. that is my focus this year. work more. learn more. discover more & bloom. and finally get this site redesigned. new focus needs to lead to a new look.

- i got my hands on the line i designed that’s being released at cha at the end of january. can. not. wait. to. share. i’ve been cutting it and making product for the show with it was amazing. something i want to do more of. alot. more. of!!

here’s to a beautiful new year for you, for me, for this amazing world we live in. i wish for us all every beautiful savored moment that our soul’s can hold.

I hope you’ve had a wonderful holiday, it’s been very mellow here, which is so nice. The man has this entire next week off which i am looking forward to enjoying with him & the littles. Hoping we can make it into the city for a fun day at the exploratorium!
