getting ready : moulin rouge

i leave dark and early tomorrow morning to head to moulin rouge and i am almost ready. almost. kits were mailed on monday and should be arriving this afternoon at the hotel. it’s always a relief when i see via confirmation that they’ve landed.

i have also been making some things on the side like the iPad sleeves above and a few other treasures for vendor night. i never feel as if my table is as full as it could be as my making always happens in spurts but what i have i personally love {letting some of these go will be hard!}. i rather enjoy that there is extra love and attention put into each piece i have been making, i’ve been trying to stay away from a factory style mentality. i am learning to play again when i am in the studio and deep in the “make” stage of making and i believe that if i take it slow what i create connects {my word of the year} on a far deeper level.

happy wednesday!
