Make a quick mini album out of your kit scraps…

If you’re like me, you use your Kenner Road kit to create many wonderful layouts…and then you’re left with scraps that are so hard to throw away! I know many scrappers are great about saving & using up scraps, but I confess I am not one of them.  As I looked at the scraps I had after making my layouts this month, I decided to use them to create a super-quick mini book.

To make the book:

1. Take a piece of cardstock and cut it in half, and then fold it in half. Voila, you have the cover for a 6×6 mini.

2. Grab your paper scraps and cut them into rectangle shapes to fit inside the album. Since my scraps were various sizes, I ended up with lots of different page sizes. I simply grabbed a scrap, trimmed it into a rectangle & folded it in half.

3. Nest all your folded pages into your cover and run it through your sewing machine to bind it. You could also staple the pages, if you have a long-reach stapler.

4. Fill up your pages with photos! All of the different size pages make the album really fun.
