i think she deserves a little gift with a special “friendship quote”.
so, go make her one…
my challenge to you is to find a favorite quote & base your gift, card, wall hanging on that quote!
to make my “bra”, i used a scrap piece of organza fabric & just hand-stiched around it, added some scrap lace “straps” & glued it over my “boobs” -two small white buttons with rhinestone centers. (i know i’m clever, but you can tell me again).
i just layered everything onto a cheap (target $ spot), small (5×5″) wooden frame, added some embellishments from some of my past kenner road kits, and voila!

It’s easy to pick a famous person I’d like to be friends with. Taylor Swift, no question.

what a fun question…. my oldest friend would be sonja (since 7th grade…. almost 30 years ago!!) my newest friend would be edie, a wonderful lady from church who is old enough to be my mother, so sweet and fun to be with.

well – my oldest and dearest friend is going to be my sister Jackie. We may have gone through that whole phase of not getting along but I would call her my friend.
But my oldest and dearest friend that is not family would be Tina – I met her 20+ years ago and when we talk, it doesn’t matter how much time has gone by it’s like it was yesterday.
And my newest friend is Dana – I met her the first day of kindergarten while dropping my son off and we just clicked. It’s like we have known each other a very long time. In fact, the teacher asked once how long we had known each other, he thought it had been years.

My husband isn’t my oldest friend but he’s definitely my BEST friend. He gets up early to make me breakfast before he leaves for work when I’m not feeling well. He took my favorite pair of shoes to be re-soled so I could wear them forever. He is so supportive I can’t list all the wonderful ways he brings joy to my heart. And we’ll celebrate our 37th anniversary this year. By the way, he proposed on our first date!
I met my newest friend about 40 yrs ago but we lost track of each other until last year. We decided to meet in NYC and reconnect our lives and start over and it was wonderful!
I’d love to meet John Travolta and let him know that he’s not alone in his grief.
