How often do you…

… print photos?  When I was only doing digital stuff, I printed my layouts a couple of times a year at Scrapbook Pictures.  It’s one of my all-time favorite places to print anything digital – just wait for a sale if you’re penny pinching!  They have sales a couple of times a year and will store your files if you place an order once a year!  Who doesn’t need more backups?

Anyway, when I was only doing strictly digi, I would never print actual photos – just didn’t have a need to do so.  Now that I’ve been venturing over to the “other” side (JUST KIDDING!), I have that need to print a bit more often.  Granted, I do a lot of printing at home just to have a place-filler photo (I typically do all my paper work, scan/photograph my layout then work on the digital side including overlaying a digital photo so it’s totally crisp & clear, adding journaling, etc.), but sometimes I actually need a real photo to use.  Once every couple of months, depending on how often I’m actually scrapping, I get prints made and always get an index print.

The other day when I was playing around, I found an older index print and thought… there’s surely something I can do with it…  This is what came of it!  A fun hybrid layout (in this case I didn’t overlay the photos, though!) that channeled a little bit of Debee – or tried to, anyway, with the drippy paint.

This layout uses goodies from the KR February kits and includes some goodies from CD Mucksosky (title alphas).

Hope you all had a truly blessed Easter and have a blessed Spring.  Hopefully you’re lucky enough to actually have spring weather already!  We had 4″ of snow yesterday!  Good times!  Happy day.
