gallery favorites : april
as usual, our guest designer teresa mcfayden and the creative team created some amazing layouts and projects this month and i thought i’d share a few of my personal favorites, with the added hope that you’ll share a few of yours in the comments section.

it really was an honor having teresa here with us this month. she has a vintage style that i’ve always adored and her style fits in with kenner road so easily. so all of that being said i love that she created this little sachet with the central valley collage print fabric. stuffed with lavendar it’s the perfect gift for a friend or you could stuff it with buckwheat and leave it on an end table as a paper weight to make sure no one steals all of your country living magazines.

i absolutely adore amy’s layout using the fancy pants kraft kut paper, especially how she turned the paper and made it hang, just like her sweet boy.

debee always amazes me with her paint work. the fact that she later explained the pink paint shown here on hey was an accident is divine but i LOVE how she stripped those pink paislee chipboard stickers and used them raw.

the way that dina used the sakura album from the hen house add-on as a mask on much love is exactly why i adore her art, she always finds a way to use something in a new way. of course her three adorable boys smiling can’t help either. ;)

When i opened jessi’s email i gasped at her while you grow minibook using the sakura album. The way she incorporated the fabric and the embellishemnts from the kits is perfect but it was the sweet sentiments she hid to her children that i thought was priceless. make sure you go see the rest of the pages of this beautiful minibook in her gallery if you haven’t already, it is amazing!

this sweet angel wall hanging is so katie. i always adore her projects and this one, using the kenner road collage fabric from the central valley kit is divine. it has such an amazing vintage homespum feel.

remember when by gigi is probably one of my favorites of hers, ever. it’s simple in design but the imapct that the journaling and the picture has is so wonderful. it’s truly what this artform is all about. getting the thoughts down. documenting your life. remembering the things you’ll really want to remember when you’re old and gray. the things you’ll probably forget, all of the little details.

lisa created this wonderful banner out of the 7gypsies journal sheets that came in the central valley kit but i love how she used one of each of the kenner road bingo fabric swatches as accents.
now tell me… what did you love this month?
