… are you ready?  i have only started to think about gifts for Christmas – have to get through this US Thanksgiving week, first!  do you have plans?  plans with family?  plans with friends?  we have both friends and relatives coming into town…  always fun to have a full house!  i’ve got the turkey and that’s about it.  guess i need to sit down tomorrow to get the rest of that going.

so, two things i’ve been thinking of lately.

firstly…  since it’s heading into the (budgeted) shopping season, why not hold on to all your shopping receipts and use them for a project?  you could layer them under photos of a gift you gave and the receiver’s reaction, you could paint or stitch them onto a project…  there are a bunch of options to sort of recycle that paper and use it in a fun way to add to or compliment your project.  i’m going to start a pile and see what i can come up with towards the end of the season.

secondly…  how does this inspire you????  tis the orang-y thanksgiving season, not Christmas just yet! :)
