we are thrilled to tell you that the amazing debee campos is the october guest designer here at kenner road. she is an incredible artist with a heart made of pure gold and i am so anxious to see her work with the willowside kit.

i first met debee and viewed her incredible work about 9 months ago and there has never been a time when i haven’t been inspired and in awe of her undeniable talent and her ability to work spray paint into almost everything she creates. she is a dear friend to all of us here and we feel blessed and honored to have her with us this month.

make sure you are back here on the 14th for reveal night and a fantastic giveaway. and of course, willowside and all of our addon kits and provisions will be available at midnight the 14th est {12 am october 15th est}.

i LOVE those vintage ledger & book & music pages that kerry included in the kenner road september kits…LOVE them…but, i’m going to admit, i’m a bit intimidated by them…not sure if it is that secret hoarder of all things that lurkes within me that makes me afraid to cut into them, or if it is just a “they freak me out they are so flippin’ cool” kinda thing…but there…i’ve gotten it off of my chest :)

so i’ve developed a way for me to get past the intimidation…you may find it brutal….but i’ve started to punch the heck out of them…

i think the fact that that first punch is usually only taking about 1 inch out of the paper is what is helping so much…its not like when you take one swipe of the cutting blade & it cuts the sheet in half & it’ll never be the same & omg, what do i do now!!!

so…my trusty punches have become my latest, bestest & favoritest friends while creating…& i think they’ll stay up on top of the table getting lots of use for quite a while more…it IS fun :)

so here are a couple of layouts i created using the september kit & my scallop circle (my favorite & my best…but shhhh, don’t tell the butterfly or the star ;)

so grab your punches…take a deep breath & punch your heart out :)

it’s easy peasy lemon squeezy & you get to really dive into those kits & create :)

turns out that gigi is fighting a yucky head cold right now so until she feels better i thought i’d share this great layout that amy created a few weeks ago with the vintage revival & cotillion kits. i love how she incorporated the “inexpensive” flashcard and how has that daisy chain ribbon is left dangling at the end.

and i love it.

having the kenner road blog and right here at the site, in its own tab, is going to be fabulous. it will be the place to check for announcements and sneak peeks and inspiration. it will be the place where you can learn about site happenings, giveaways and behind the scene details. it will be the place where we, the kenner road team, will also get to know you, and hopefully begin {or continue ;)} an amazing friendship.

we’re laid back and relaxed here, but we have big plans. the creative team will be sharing inspiration, challenges and/or tutorials on mondays. play along or just be inspired. gigi is up this coming monday {oct 6th} and i can’t wait to see what she’s got up her sleeve.

today we start a new journey and i am thrilled that you are here with us.
